Privacy Policy

VideoAtolye is a private tool used only by the owner of the YouTube channels Rewind Desk (@rewinddesk) and Zaman Maketi (@zamanmaketi) to upload their own videos. This policy explains what the tool does with data it receives from Google.
YouTube API Services
VideoAtolye uses the YouTube API Services. By using VideoAtolye you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
What data the tool accesses
- The connected channel's ID, title and handle, read with
channels.list, only to confirm that the correct channel is signed in before an upload. - Our own video files, thumbnails and caption files, which the tool sends to that channel with
videos.insert,thumbnails.setandcaptions.insert.
The tool does not read, change or delete existing videos, comments, playlists, subscribers, analytics or any other account data, and it never accesses accounts other than the owner's two channels.
What is stored, and where
The only data kept is the OAuth refresh token for each channel, together with that channel's ID, title and handle. It is stored in a file on the owner's own computer that only the owner's user account can read. Short-lived access tokens are held in memory only. There is no server, database, account system or cloud storage, and no data is kept anywhere else.
Sharing
No data received from Google is sold, shared with or transferred to any third party, and none of it is used for advertising or analytics. VideoAtolye's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Revoking access and deleting data
Access can be revoked at any time on the Google security settings page: security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. When access is revoked, or on request, the stored token and channel details are deleted from the owner's computer within 7 days.
